Grant Information

Wayward Woman Giving Fund (WWGF) is a vibrant Giving Fund that encourages Australian women to be micro-philanthropists.

Our focus is on supporting creative projects and programs that:

  • Have the goal of creating social change through art and culture.

  • Have a strong focus on working collaboratively with communities.

  • Our grant process opens in the second half of each year and we award grants between July and December of each year

  • Our generous Donors and Supporters get to see the results of grants first-hand. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Wayward Woman Giving Fund (WWGF) awards grants on a yearly basis to Australian (Victorian) individual projects and and programs that focus on our key area of Community Arts and Cultural Development.

  • Individuals must have an ABN and be able to send an invoice for the funds requested. 

  • All organisations must have Not-for-profit or Charitable status – i.e., be an incorporated association or an organisation that is registered as a charity with the Australian Charity and Non-Profit Commission (ACNC).

  • Overseas registered charities are not eligible.

How to Apply

  • We welcome eligible individuals and organisations to read the grant guidelines and fill out an application form - see below. 

  • A grants subcommittee that is made up of 5 - 7  individuals will review and evaluate the applications for voting. 

  • The results of the voting are then announced via our website and social media, and the successful grant recipients will be presented with their grants and have the opportunity to speak with our donors in person at associated events.
